ETIS Community Gathering 2013 - Save the date! 15/05/2013
ETIS is pleased to announce that the next Community Gathering will be organised in Riga, Latvia, 17 - 18 October 2013 at the Radisson Blue Daugava Hotel. The Gathering will feature a common morning session with all of our members followed by our Working Group meetings. The theme of the Community Gathering 2013 is: Future Telecom Business Drivers & IT Implications .

This week the ETIS Information Security working group held its second meeting of the year in Istanbul which was kindly hosted by Turkcell on 25-26 April 2013. The meeting was attended by 24 people from companies such as A1 Telekom Austria, Avea, Belgacom, BT, KPN, Oger Telecom, Swisscom, TDC, Telefonica, Telenor, Turkcell, Turk Telekom, Praesidium, ENISA and TNO.

Last week, the ETIS Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing (BI&DW) Working Group held its first meeting of the year in Brussels, Belgium. The event was kindly hosted by Belgacom along with Qlikview who hosted the traditional group dinner. It was attended by 18 people from a variety of companies including Belgacom, Deutsche Telekom, eircom, Lattelecom, Swisscom, Telecom Italia, T-mobile Netherlands, Vodafone, Data Management and Warehousing, Oracle, Qlikview, SAS and Teradata.

Last week, the ETIS Enterprise Architecture Working Group held its first meeting of 2013 kindly hosted by KPN in Rotterdam. All in all, 18 people from 13 different companies including AVEA, Croatian Telekom, Deutsche Telekom, KPN, Swisscom, Telecom Italia, Turkcell, BCG, Agile Birds, Comarch and TNO gathered together to share knowledge and experience in the area of Enterprise Architecture.

Last week the ETIS CERT-SOC Telco Network held its first meeting of 2013 in Brussels, Belgium kindly hosted by Belgacom. The meeting was attended by 16 participants from nine companies including Belgacom , BT, Deutsche Telekom, KPN, Slovak Telekom, TDC, TNO and Turkcell. Although not physically represented at the meeting, additional nine ETIS members are participating in the initiative through the Members Corner: A1 Telekom Austria, CYTA, Fastweb, Lattelecom, Magyar Telekom, Portugal Telecom, Telefonic, Telenor and TeliaSonera.
