"Current challenges amid the coronavirus crisis" call series + other webinars

As the coronavirus crisis is becoming more severe across Europe and many of our members are facing similar challenges, we are continuing to help facilitate an exchange of information, questions and solutions through our platform.
One such initiative are twice weekly calls with those on our Management Board and appointees from their crisis management teams to discuss the situation and measures at both the country and company level. In addition to a comprehensive survey covering a number of domains to compare the situation and measures taken by each member, dedicated surveys are being circulated within specific working groups in areas such as network issues and contingency plans as well as collections and bill payment challenges.
The Network and IT Transformation Working Group will also have a call to discuss network load, issues and contingency plans next Wednesday while the Digital Sales and Customer Experience Working Group will discuss how they are encouraging customers to use online portals, changes in online KPIs, bill payment and other challenges on Thursday.
Webinars are also being organised to supplement the exchange of information in between the meetings that have been postponed until the end of May and June. The Smart Charging and Payments Working Group will hold two webinars--the first of which will take place on April 7th from 14:00 - 15:00 and focus on the wholesale billing environment. During this webinar, participants will exchange experiences related to e-invoicing as well as ideas on the potential of aligning the formats of up- and downloading invoices on different platforms. Then on April 29th another webinar will focus on exchanging brief updates on each others' current projects/priorities as well as preparing for the June meeting in Munich, which primarily focuses on the residential and business markets.
The Procurement and Vendor Management Working Group will also hold a webinar on May 7 from 14:00-15:00. Participants will give brief company updates to help identify future areas of focus, followed by a presentation by PVM Chair and Swisscom representative Fabio Albisser who will discuss their sourcing strategy (How to steer? How do you communicate the strategy and build acceptance?).
