We're pleased to announce that Risto Siilasmaa, Founder, Investor, and Chairman of Nokia, will be speaking at the upcoming ETIS Community Gathering 2018, this October 18-19 in Lisbon.

He will give his view on future disruptions of the telecom industry with a specific focus on AI.

He will also discuss the leadership lessons he learned from his experience transforming Nokia from a technology company to an AI company--lessons for any company confronting massive change.

About Risto:

Risto is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nokia Corporation and an entrepreneur at heart. In addition to leading Nokia’s recent transformation, he is founder and Chairman of the Board of F-Secure, a Finnish internet security and content cloud service provider.

As an active promoter of innovation culture, Risto is a well-known business angel, investing in several technology startups and serving on their boards. He was previously Chairman of the Board of Directors of Elisa Corporation from 2008 to 2012.

He will release his new book, Transforming Nokia: The Power of Paranoid Optimism to Lead Through Colossal Change in October 2018, which focuses on how Nokia revived and reinvented itself as a new industry powerhouse.
