Customer Self-Service WG Meeting Summary

On 7-8 March, the ETIS Customer Self-Service (CSS) Working Group held its first meeting of 2013 in Vienna, kindly hosted by A1 Telekom Austria. This successful meeting gathered 30 participants to share knowledge and experiences in the area of CSS from the following companies: A1 Telekom Austria, CYTA, Deutsche Telekom, Detecon, KPN, Lattelecom, Swisscom, TDC and Telenor. Describing the successful meeting, our host Herbert Schoeberl from A1 Telekom Austria remarked: "It was my pleasure to host the ETIS CSS Working Group meeting in Vienna. Besides sharing extremely valuable know-how between each other, I always look forward to meeting so many nice and open people. I appreciate being part of this group – not just because of the regular Working Group meetings but also because of the easy access to everyone to share our thoughts and ideas. Can’t wait for Dresden!

The goal of the CSS Working Group is to exchange knowledge about Customer Self-Service strategies and solutions in order to enable ETIS members to succeed with their Customer Self-Service business objectives. The meeting agenda covered a wide range of topics such as benchmarks on service and sales, KPIs, B2B online activities, online orientation and the digital shift. Mobile activities and cross channel strategies were also discussed in depth and identified as future hot topics for the group.

The next meeting will take place in Dresden on 13-14 June 2013 and will be kindly hosted by T-Systems Multimedia Solutions. For more information on how to participate in the CSS group, please contact Eirini Markoula at .
