Session 2, Part 1: Governance of Compliance
Roundtable
Building on the previous session, each company is allocated 15 minutes to introduce their compliance governance model, answering the questions of:
- What does your governance model currently look like?
- What is the line of reporting like?
- How do you manage compliance within the company, and how do you govern relationship with the subsidiaries?
- What kind of governance model would you like to create in the future?
- What do you need to overcome to achieve your ideal governance model?
We invite participants to present concrete examples backed with organigramme of structure.

Session 3: Roles and Responsibilities of the Compliance Manager

Each company is invited to hold a 10 minutes long presentation on their roles and responsibilities, including:
- What are your core compliance functions?
- What are the adjacent compliance domains you are involved in? How is it managed overall?
- How do you deal with the complexity of the increasing number of compliance responsibilities?

Session 4: Contract Lifecycle and Compliance Optimisation

Joint session with the Procurement and Supply Chain Management Working Group.
Under the theme Ensuring Control, Visibility & Compliance Across the Value Chain, we invite one or two participants to hold presentations on:
- Next-gen contract lifecycle management – intelligence & automation
- Key tools, tech, and tactics to streamline contract compliance and reduce risk.
- Operationalising risk management in procurement
- Best practices for proactive monitoring, early warning systems, and supplier contract governance.

Open discussion
In this session, we invite all participants to share if (and how) their respective compliance function is affected by newly emerging risks in the global economy. This should allow participants to learn from each other and anticipate changes.

Event Context and Expectations
This workshop is a collaborative knowledge-sharing event, where success relies on active preparation and engagement from all participants.
- Each company must prepare at least one 10-20 minute presentation relevant to one of the main sessions (ideally addressing one or more of the suggested topics within that session).
- Topic selection confirmation with the organizer by May 5th and final presentation submission by May 28th.
