ETIS Expands the scope of Billing Working Group

News posted: 15 April 2009

As you may know, ETIS has been involved in the area of Billing in Telcos for many years now. ETIS has been running an Electronic Billing working group since the 90’s and has also hosted a number of successful Billing Workshops.

We are now looking at expanding the scope of the ETIS Billing Working Group to include more top level strategic billing issues and not only the ETIS e-billing Data Model. In order to do this we are launching a new Billing Working group meeting in conjunction with the IIR BSS Summit hosted at the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam on 8-11 June 2009.

The focus of the meeting will be to share knowledge and experiences on the latest Billing challenges, opportunities and strategies as well as the main business drivers influencing your billing environment. This meeting will feature presentations from Deutsche Telekom, OTE, Telekom Austria and Telenor and will cover topics like Service Oriented Connectors for CRM & Billing, New NGN billing platforms, Billing & Revenue Sharing for IPTV and of course the ETIS Electronic Billing Standards. The meeting will also have a round table discussion session exploring how service providers can prepare for an uncertain future.

The working group meeting will take place on Day 1 (Monday, June 8) of the IIR BSS Summit and will be free of charge for ETIS members. You may also attend the rest of the conference if you choose at 15% ETIS Discount but the working group meeting on day 1 is free.
