The next ETIS Data Privacy Task Force and Information Security Working Group will take place on the 1st and 2nd June at the same location. To take advantage of this, the two groups will have a joint session on Security & Privacy of IoT and the Security & Privacy environment within GDPR.
This joint session was created upon the request of participants of both groups so ETIS Members can meet and discuss their challenges in the trusted environment of ETIS community. The practice of joint sessions was started during the last Community Gathering in Zagreb, and it has received a very positive feedback. It enables networking and cross-pollination between the groups and results in a greater pool of knowledge and expertise to be shared.
Outside of joint session, Data Privacy Task Force will cover Organisational structure of Data Privacy, Tracking of GDPR implementation, Privacy as a Bussiness Opportunity, and Consent according to GDPR. Two sessions will also focus on the new ePrivacy regulation and how it compares to GDPR. The ISWG’s agenda features a number of sessions covering topics such as latest challenges and incidents, GRC Tools, IoT, Dev/Ops & Agile, outsourcing concerns, Signalling and Perimeter Security and others related topics.
