The Innovation Working Group meeting was very productive and inspiring event with many useful outcomes for the ETIS Members. ETIS has received very positive feedback from all the attendees.

Thanks to the trusted environment of ETIS Working Groups, Members shared many insights and their real user cases.

Hilde Van De Kerckhove: “ETIS is a great facilitator for information sharing with peers about common challenges, you can learn from others about your own business and topics peers have on their mind or are working on.”

The discussion with peers about successful stories and challenges they face during the projects was very fruitful.

Ramzi Hamouda from Swisscom: We, Telcos, are all facing the same challenges. We should try to "copy" our success stories instead of re-inventing the wheel.”

Participants shared their approach to innovation management, innovation culture, cooperation with start-ups, and partnership models for IoT; Deutsche Telekom, Swisscom and Proximus presented specific projects they have been working on and discussed possible future collaboration with participants of the meeting. During the meeting, Innovation WG also discussed several topics with Smart Charging & Payments Working Group representative Philipp Reischauer (Deutsche Telekom), mainly related to innovation in online payments and data protection.

If you are a Member of the Innovation Working Group, you can find more about the discussion in the minutes of the meeting. The minutes and the presentations can be found in INNWG Member’s Corner. For more questions about this event or how to join Innovation Working Group, please contact ETIS CO representative Sepideh Javaherian (sj@etis.org).
