The first meeting of the Innovation Working Group

The two-day meeting will be happening on 16-17 March in Brussels, kindly hosted by Proximus. The event, which is the first independent meeting of the INNWG, will provide a closely acquainted environment for networking among Telco stakeholders.
During the first day there will be presentations given by high-level speakers with valuable expertise in telecommunications, for instance Jan Sonck will present two platforms of Proximus: MyAnalytics and EnCo, Björn Hohmannw will introduce Deutsche Telekom’s T-Lab projects and presentation by Arnoud van der Kooij will show case how KPN cooperates with start-ups.
Second day of the meeting will focus on topics related to the Internet of Things. Participants will review results of survey on their views on and activities in IoT. Later each participant will present a case study on IoT. After this part everyone will have a chance to find opportunities for further networking during round tables. The whole meeting will be closed by Session devoted to future steps of the Innovation Working Group.

The Innovation Working Group was officially launched during the ETIS Community Gathering in Zagreb last year. Purpose of this Working Group is to exchange positions and case studies related to innovation. At the moment the Working Group is discussing Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Open API’s and Telco positioning versus OTTs.
