First and foremost, we hope that you enjoyed your holidays and would like to wish you a successful start to the New Year. We would once again like to express our appreciation of your commitment, hard work and contribution to the knowledge sharing that took place in 2015. We are looking forward to an even more exciting year in 2016 with many opportunities for sharing knowledge and collaboration via our Working Groups, pilot projects, benchmarks, best practices and surveys.  An eventful period is coming up with many Working Group meetings taking place in the coming months which are already open for registration. Please visit the Calendar section of the ETIS website for more information and details about all of the meetings in 2016.

We already have the date and location of the next ETIS Community Gathering which will be hosted in Zagreb, Croatia on 13-14 October 2016. We have also posted some video highlights of the Disruptive Innovation common session from the last Community Gathering in Copenhagen on our Youtube channel so please feel free to check them out. Last but not least, if you have not yet done so yet, we would like to invite you to subscribe to our LinkedIn Group and Twitter page which have enjoyed significant growth in the past few months.

We are pleased to announce that the Digital Services arm of La Poste (France) also recently joined the ETIS Anti-Abuse Telco Network. At the end of 2015 we also informed you of the recent partnership with the Internet Society of China. Last but not least, more details on the Working Groups can be found in this year’s ETIS Annual Report and do not forget to browse through the TeBIT 2015 Executive Report to learn more about IT costs and spending trends in Telcos.

In 2016, ETIS will continue to serve its members and is moving forward towards a renewed strategy with further alignment to the challenges that operators are facing. We will strive to ensure that ETIS sets and drives the dynamic strategic agenda in the Telco space based on information sharing and from there leading to collaboration where possible. You are always welcome to contact us with membership enquires, practical questions and suggestions. Sharing knowledge is our strength!
