Manx Telecom joins ETIS as a Full Member

ETIS is pleased to announce that Manx Telecom has just joined ETIS as a Full Member. During 2014, Manx Telecom participated as a guest in the Information Security Working Group and already established itself as a valuable contributor to the knowledge sharing and discussions. We are looking forward to welcoming Manx Telecom to the ETIS Community and they are set to contribute to the three Security related Working Groups, the CIO Executive Forum and are looking into the other groups later this year.
Kevin Paige, CTO of Manx Telecom had the following to say about joining the ETIS Community: ‘Manx Telecom is very pleased to join ETIS and become part of a European strategic alliance. This will be of great benefit to Manx Telecom and our customers through the sharing of technological innovation. We are looking forward to working with the ETIS community in the very near future’.
Fred Werner, Communications & Programme Director for ETIS, had the following to say about Manx Telecom’s new Membership: 'After participating as a guest in our Information Security Benchmark Working Group last year, ETIS was impressed with Manx Telecom’s openness and willingness to discuss Cyber Security threats and work together to find new ways to combat these threats. Security is one area that benefits from the power of the network and ETIS is looking forward to the increased knowledge sharing opportunities that will come from our newest Member.'
