The group also discussed Security in Outsourcing and Vendor Security Assurance, Infrastructure Integrity, and last but not least, vulnerability and threat intelligence sharing between ETIS member companies.
Pedro Emanuel Leite, VP from Praesidium-S21Sec had the following to say about hosting the meeting: “ETIS ISWG is really a great working group and having the opportunity to host the event was very good. What I most appreciate on my first ETIS ISWG participation was the collaboration and trust between all Telecom Operators that were present on the meeting. It was an open and productive discussion around subjects that are common and important for everyone. Cyber Security is really a top priority and a challenge for Telecom Operators. Define and prepare a strategy for new security threads is crucial.”
The next meeting of the Information Security Working Group will take place on 18-19 June 2015 hosted by KPN in Amsterdam. This meeting will also be preceded by an Information Security Benchmark Workshop on 17 June led by TNO in Amsterdam.
