Customer Self-Service WG Meeting Summary

The Customer Self-Service Working Group (CSS WG) recently held its second meeting of the year which was kindly hosted by T-Systems MMS in Dresden, Germany on 13-14 June. A total of 23 participants attended the meeting, representing the following ETIS Member companies: A1 Telekom Austria, Belgacom, Detecon, Deutsche Telekom, Lattelecom, Swisscom, Telenor and Teliasonera. Google was also invited by the group to share some updates on their activities as well as some digital trends and Telco related consumer insights.
Below is an overview of some of the main topics that were covered in the meeting:
- web analytics and tag management
- web strategy for business segment
- e-mail marketing
- central ad-server project
- mobile applications
- customer self-service study insights
The 2 day meeting featured many interactive discussions which highlighted the need for simplicity and timely reactions to new technologies. The Managing Director of T-Systems MMS, Peter Klingenburg, attended part of the meeting and also led our Members on a guided tour Dresden and the T-Systems premises.
