ETIS Community Gathering 2009
ETIS is pleased to inform you that the next ETIS Community Gathering will be hosted by ETIS in Istanbul on 15/16 October 2009. The Gathering will also be held in conjunction with the 38th Management board hosted by Turkcell on 14 October 2009. The ETIS Community Gathering will bring together our members from the European Telecom operators to share knowledge on key ICT issues facing the Telecom industry.
The Gathering will begin with a common session for all of our members on the topic of 'Data is King - The key asset for Future Telco business!'. The session will look at how 'Data' has become the Telco's core asset and how to best take care of that key asset in order to achieve your business objectives, create new business opportunities and try to anticipate where the competition is heading.
The remainder of day 1 will feature a dedicated 'Management Board/CIO Session' as well as breakout sessions for the working groups. The day will end with a scenic boat ride down the Bosphorus to a historic Ottoman mansion on the Asian side for the ETIS Community Banquet dinner.
The second day, Friday 16 October 2009, will be dedicated to individual working sessions for the following working groups: Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, Procurement & Vendor Management, Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse and Customer Self Service. You can find more information about the different ETIS working groups and activities on the ETIS website.
The gathering is an ideal opportunity for all of the ETIS members, associates and partners to get to know one another, learn about each other's activities, plans and expectations and above all, share knowledge. In addition to the education programmes, there will be plenty of unique opportunities for networking, with lunches, networking breaks and an executive dinner.
This meeting is open to ETIS Members, Associate Members, Partners and Working Groups participants. If you would like to register for this event, please contact Mr. Fred Werner at fw@etis.org
