TeBIT Benchmarking Survey

Each year ETIS carries out a Benchmarking Exercise. Not only does the survey allow members to compare their own effectiveness and efficiency with others, it also provides an opportunity for the exchange of information, ideas, the latest information about business drivers and strategies of companies in the telecommunications industries, it allows participants to do so in a confidential way, confident that their information is shared only by participants.

ETIS is pleased to invite you to take part in the latest ETIS IT Benchmarking Survey - TeBIT 2006.

As in previous years, the survey will provide practical figures for you to have at your fingertips including:

  • average percentage of revenue spent on IT,
  • the average IT spent per customer,
  • the average IT spend per employee,
  • average cost per work station per year and so on...

This year we have added questions relating to governance, particularly as it applies to IT, and new questions on outsourcing, to allow us to deepen our knowledge of recent experiences, which have been reported to us, and questions related to PLAN/BUILD/RUN, which seemed to cause some problems. Other topics examined will include training spent in IT, quality of service management, IT services, desktops.

Why take part in TeBIT?

  • It can save tens, even hundreds of 1000s euros in fees for expensive consultants.
  • It is unique because the information comes from reliable experts within Telcos.
  • ETIS can be trusted, so business exposure is reduced.
  • It enables internal use or Benchmarking against others.
