ETIS is pleased to invite it's members to the next ETIS Community Gathering to be hosted by Belgacom in Brussels, Belgium on 13-14 November 2008. The ETIS Community Gathering will kick off on Thursday 13th November 2008 at 10:00, with a welcome address from Belgacom and a keynote presentation from EU Commissioner, DG Information Society & Media, Viviane Reding who will speak about the 'EU's policies driving a competitive Telecommunications market and its impact on Telco operators'. Presentations will also be given by Jean-Louis Previdi, Vice President & Program Director, Gartner, on 'New Telecom Business Models', and by Brendan Logan, Senior Vice President, Patni Telecoms Consulting on 'Billing challenges in the future Telco Business’.
The second half of the day will focus on ETIS success stories covering topics like Anti-SPAM, Customer Self-Service, Enterprise Architecture, Procurement and Vendor Management and experiences of knowledge sharing from the CIO Executive Forum.
The second day, Friday 14th November 2008, will be dedicated to individual working sessions for the following working groups: Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, Procurement & Vendor Management, Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse and Customer Self Service. There will also be an ETIS CIO Executive Workshop which will focus on New Telco business models. The gathering is an ideal opportunity for all of the ETIS members, associates and partners to get to know one another, learn about each other's activities, plans and expectations and above all, share knowledge.
In addition to the education programmes, there will be plenty of unique opportunities for networking, with lunches, networking breaks and an executive dinner.
