Alongside the full and associate membership programmes, ETIS has also developed a partnership programme with other non-profit international bodies and associations involved essentially in IT, telecommunications and multimedia content and technology. The complexity of the issues and challenges addressed by the ETIS community means that such partnerships have become unavoidable and ultimately advantageous.

The aim of this partnership programme is to foster co-operation with industry players who are either representing other industry communities, or are dealing with key topics, such as standards and architecture.

This co-operation leads to the sharing of valuable information whenever relevant, offers our members access to larger networks as well as the opportunity of participating in many more events, often at a reduced fee. Finally, the partners’ networks provide a virtual network of expertise, which could lead to the inception of common projects or proposals in the context of European or world-wide consortia (e.g. EC projects).
